Continuous R-Implications
In this work we have solved an open problem related to the continuity of R-implications. We have fully characterized the class of continuous R-implications obtained from any arbitrary t-norm. Using this result, we also determine the exact intersection between the continuous subsets of R-implications and (S,N)implications. Keywords— R-implication, (S,N)-implication, Łukasiewicz implication, t-norm.
متن کاملIndia's Energy Strategy by 2035 and Its Implications for I. R. of Iran
The energy sector is a most promising area for commercial interactions between Iran and India. India is expected to become the third biggest oil consumer in the World by 2035, thanks to the country’s high population and high rate of economic growth. On the other hand, Iran holds the world's largest gas reserves and third largest oil reserves, as such is able to meet India’s energy needs for a ...
متن کاملA generalized class of modified R-polynomials
In this paper we define a family of polynomials closely related to the modified R-polynomials of the symmetric group and begin work toward a classification of the polynomials by using a combinatorial interpretation involving subwords of the maximal element in the Bruhat order. The problem of determining the precise conditions which make one of these polynomials zero motivates our work. We state...
متن کاملR-implications and the Exchange Principle: A Complete Characterization
It is well-known that the residual IT of a leftcontinuous t-norm T satisfies the exchange principle (EP), viz., IT (x, IT (y, z)) = IT (y, IT (x, z)) for all x, y, z ∈ [0, 1]. However, the left-continuity of T is only sufficient and not necessary, as many examples in the literature illustrate. In this work we study the necessary conditions on a t-norm T for its residual to satisfy (EP). The wor...
